The Artifort C 683 Sofa is a 1968 design from Kho Liang Ie. Kho Liang Ie was a prominent Indonesian designer. Born in Magelang, Indonesia in 1927, he emigrated to Holland in 1949. Early in his career, he handled larger contract projects such as the Holland Travel Office in New York and the Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. His work with Artifort started in the mid-1960s.
