La Zitta Stool by Ton

The La  Zitta Stool by TON, crafted by Alexander Gufler, is a beautifully minimalist interpretation of the classic “Frankfurter Stuhl” archetype, its name evoking the Italian word for "quiet"—a nod to its understated elegance. Constructed from solid beechwood and brought to life via TON’s renowned steam-bending expertise, its design showcases gently curved legs and a precision-crafted backrest, offering both visual simplicity and surprising comfort. The stool’s timeless form adapts well to a range of settings—from residential kitchens to refined hospitality bars—blending seamlessly while still asserting a modern, sculptural presence.

Available in both counter and bar heights, the La Zitta offers versatility to match different spaces and uses. Seating options range from solid plywood to classic cane or upholstered cushions, all atop the warm tones of beech, which can be finished in natural, stained, or vibrant pigmented colors.
