Its entire structure is forged from square‑section steel tubing, finished in a semi‑opaque matte black that emphasizes the chair’s geometric rigor and sculptural silhouette. Rather than wood and leather, the seat and armrests are molded in textured black rubber, adding both visual contrast and a tactile comfort that belies the chair’s austere frame. The absence of a traditional backrest in some variants reinforces the Savonarola’s minimalist ethos, while the subtle curve of the arm supports hints at the ergonomic considerations behind this bold, architectural piece.
