Wire Floor Lamp by Verner Panton

The Wire Floor Lamp by Verpan, originally designed by Verner Panton in 1972, is a striking expression of sculptural minimalism and futuristic vision. Defined by its conical base of chrome-plated steel wire, the lamp creates a captivating play between structure and air, solidity and transparency. The wire frame appears both technical and delicate, allowing the lamp to take on a light, almost floating presence in any space. Atop the structure sits a softly domed plastic shade, available in classic white or bold orange, which diffuses a warm, ambient glow throughout the room.

True to Panton’s boundary-pushing design ethos, the Wire Floor Lamp functions as both an atmospheric light source and a distinctive piece of art.
